Executive summary
The European Accessibility Act has applied since June 2025 and every Member State has notified national measures. What does not exist, and will not for years, is any official picture of whether it is working. That gap is being filled by vendor marketing, so this page states plainly what is documented and what is not.

Article 31(2). The transposition deadline three years earlier, 28 June 2022, is a different date and is often confused with it.
378 instruments in total, from 59 in Germany to one each in Ireland, Cyprus and Malta. The spread reflects drafting style, not diligence.
Article 4(8) may be deferred to 2027, and transitional cover for existing products, contracts and self-service terminals runs to 2030 and beyond.

This is why no official EU-wide compliance or enforcement dataset exists yet.
There is no official EU-wide compliance or enforcement dataset for the European Accessibility Act, and there will not be one before 2030. Article 33(1) sets the first Commission report on the application of the Directive at 28 June 2030. Claims circulating about enforcement activity in individual Member States generally originate from vendors selling remediation services and could not be verified against a primary regulatory source. Anything on this subject should be sourced to a named national regulator, one country at a time.
We looked for this data and did not find it. Rather than fill the gap with vendor claims, we are telling you the gap exists. If you need enforcement intelligence for a specific market, go to that country's named market surveillance authority.
All 27 Member States have now communicated transposition measures, 378 in total. The spread from 59 to 1 says almost nothing about effort or quality: it reflects whether a country transposed through one consolidated act or amended dozens of existing laws.
